Following a brief pilot of the Virtual Networks with some SASN members, and training of Network staff on the facilitation of the Virtual Networks, we are changing and updating this area of the site. The pilot identified some problems with signing up, users understanding of what could be posted and how, and a few areas of design which could be made easier for users to get involved on the Virtual Networks.
We have developed a new improved system that is easier to use and have written hints and tips of what the site can be used for, how to start posting and elicit responses, and lots of other useful information.
We hope to have the new Virtual Networks online by the end of October 2007 and these will be available to all professional members and network group members. We will inform members of the start up date, sign up details, and instructions for use in due course.
